Hey Biking guys,
Get ready to feel the lactic acid burn in your thunder thighs. I've seen the gradients and I hope that Tom won't get black toes from kicking his front chain too much. When you get to the wee willages, and those bloodthirsty hunds go after your ankles, try throwing them some weinerschnitzel instead of banana peels.
Stay safe and strong and keep those tales and pictures coming. They're the BEST! Many hugs, much love, NY Mom
Good reading so far. Keep it up! By the way, I can't send e-mails to your alum account, Tom. Are you using a different e-mail address?
Hi, Mats (and Tom). Love your blog - the anecdotes and photos are highlights of my Web-surfing.
What's the French take on Floyd Landis?
Mats, I'm sending an e-mail to your Dartmouth account as well about this: Would you be willing to provide a short quote for the FA Annual Giving brochure about the value of being a donor? It's going to press relatively soon.
Looking forward to hearing from you -- and to further entries.

Hi mats .... it's Uncle Gary! We are all following your summer adventure with great anticipation and interest. This a real life opportunity that very few are able to experience. Be safe, have fun and keep on pedaling! Gary,Rana,Liz,Jen & Misty!
Hi Tom and Mats,
I think you need some administrative supervision. When can I fly out and join you? What a great trip and series of reports.
Cheers,
Dan Nelson
Dear Mats and Tom, I'm lovin' the cycle trip, vicariously of course! What an adventure you're having. Is there any chance you can include a rough map of your trails? I've lost you en route to Arles.
If you make it to Graz in the next few weeks, we can treat you to Southern (-Austrian) soul food, including Schnitzel if you like. For strength you should have plenty of pumpkin seed oil, drizzled over everything from your morning muesli to your ice cream parfait. They claim that favorite son, Arnold Schwarzenegger, grew strong from the Styrian specialty.
Gute Fahrt! Patricia and Scot
